Fun fact: I climbed my first mountain, Pahto (Mt Adams) in Washington state, when I was 12 years old in Mountain Hardwear snow bibs.
So, that’s kinda cool, I guess. Anyway!
I think I get what you’re trying to do, I dig it and I want to help.
I’ll be brief. I am an editor and filmmaker. My superpower is carving out the essence of story no matter the film’s category or genre. Whether it’s a :30 second commercial, a short branded film, or a feature length doc, we all want to feel a connection with a larger story. Brands can strive for this, too. That’s what I am passionate about.
I can offer over a decade of editorial experience working at the highest level of commercial and film production, a vast network of professional colleagues to execute on your other campaign needs, and I’m not a crazy expensive ad agency from LA that doesn’t have a clue about Mountain Hardwear’s world.
I have spent a lot of time creating story from seemingly unrelated imagery. A specific piece comes to mind; a trailer for a film festival that had gone through a monumental loss that year. We used selects from over 40 films to tell a story that would give tribute to the festival’s founders that lost their son, get the audience fired up to watch films and most importantly make them feel a connection to a bigger story we are all a part of. We combed through countless tracks to finally find one that had the right arc and feel to achieve the emotion we were trying to tap into. I think we nailed it.
Check it out and I would be happy to talk more if you all want to collaborate and make something awesome.
